The saying of our master Muhammad

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of fatwa number ( 2759 )
Q1: Which is more correct: to say when mentioning the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): “Our master Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him),” or to say: “(peace and blessings be upon him)”?
A1: There is leeway in this matter. It is permissible to mention Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), or to say “Our master Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him),” because he is the master of the first and the last, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him. However, in the adhan and the iqamah, “our master” is not said; rather, it is said as it came in the hadiths:
Narrated `Isa bin Talha: that he had heard Muawiya repeating the words of Adhan up to "Wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan rasulul-lah (and I testify that Muhammad is Allah's Messenger (ﷺ).)"أشهد أن محمدًا رسول الله
Sahih al-Bukhari 612
And likewise in the tashahhud in prayer, “our master” is not said; rather, it is said as it came in the hadiths; because that is closer to good conduct with the Sunnah and more complete without the title of “master” through following. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
