Regarding the ban on Shaykh Salman al-Oudah from teaching, if he were to stop speaking about matters that may affect the state and instead allow people and students of knowledge to benefit from him in other matters

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : , O Shaykh.

The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : In response to what was said about our brother, Shaykh Salman al-Oudah, when he spoke about some of the brothers, they say that if he were to stop speaking about matters that may affect the state, and instead allow people to benefit from him, or students of knowledge to benefit from him, or nations, for example, to benefit from him in other things, now when he spoke about something that may harm the state or its interest, the benefit from him was completely cut off, so if he were to leave it, would it not be better and we would benefit from him?

The Shaykh : My brother, there is no need to expand on this topic. My previous statement is the answer to this question.
fear Allah as much as you are able اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
[At-Taghabun 64:16]
Enjoin what is right when you are able to, and if not,
upon you is [responsibility for] yourselves. Those who have gone astray will not harm you when you have been guided عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْفُسَكُمْ لَا يَضُرُّكُمْ مَنْ ضَلَّ إِذَا اهْتَدَيْتُمْ
[Al-Ma'idah 5:105]
there is no need to expand on this topic. We ask Allah to relieve His believing servants, whether they are callers to Allah or followers.
