Is al-Ribat in fighting the ruler of Iraq considered in the path of Allah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: Is the work of volunteers in cooperating with security forces considered al-Ribat, or not?

A: The work of volunteers in every country against corruption, in cooperation with security forces, is considered jihad in the path of Allah for the one whose intention Allah has rectified, and it is al-Ribat in the path of Allah; because al-Ribat is staying at the frontiers against the enemies. If the enemy may be internal and Muslims need to unite with security forces against the enemy who is feared to be internal, it is hoped that they will be those who keep al-Ribat, and they have the reward of those who keep al-Ribat for protecting the country from the schemes of internal enemies.
Likewise, cooperating with the members of the Commission for Promoting Virtue and Preventing Vice, who enjoin good and forbid evil, is considered jihad in the path of Allah for the one whose intention is rectified; due to the saying of Allah, the Exalted:
And those who strive for Us - We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good.
[Al-'Ankabut: 69] and the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Never a Prophet had been sent before me by Allah towards his nation who had not among his people (his) disciples and companions who followed his ways and obeyed his command. Then there came after them their successors who said whatever they did not practise, and practised whatever they were not commanded to do. He who strove against them with his hand was a believer: he who strove against them with his tongue was a believer, and he who strove against them with his heart was a believer and beyond that there is no faith even to the extent of a mustard seed.
