She wants to live with her family due to a dispute with her husband

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
She has a second question in this letter, which is actually a long one concerning a disagreement between her and her husband. However, the summary of what is in this question is that she says: “I forbade my husband from having children with me because of a conversation that took place between me and my family. He is neglectful toward me. I have given birth to four daughters from him; I did not give birth to any of them in his home except for one, while the rest I gave birth to in my family’s home. Despite this, he does not appreciate my circumstances. I have been with my family for eight years now. I am currently satisfied with him, but he bothers me with words that have no evidence. I do not want anything from him now except safety, and I want to stay with my daughters, and I am afraid. He says: ‘I want you to go with me,’ but I do not feel secure with him. I fear that he will cause me some problems, and I am determined to stay with my family. Is there a sin on me, even though I am ill? This is what she says.”
Answer: This matter is a dispute whose reference is the court. If he permits you, there is no harm. If he does not permit you, the court will look into the matter. If someone mediates between you to reconcile you and remove the difficulty between you, then reconciliation is better. However, if reconciliation is not possible and he does not permit you, the reference is the court.
The presenter: May Allah reward you.
