The virtue of one who dies by drowning or burning

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question: We hear that one who dies by drowning or burning is not touched by the Fire. We ask for the opinion of the religion in this matter. Please inform us, and may you have reward and recompense from Allah?
Answer: Yes, it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) several hadiths in which he informed:
That the one who dies by drowning, or by the plague, or by a stomach ailment from diarrhea is a martyrأن من يموت بالغرق أو بالطاعون أو بالبطن من إسهال أنه شهيد
in the cause of Allah is a martyr, along with several other martyrs. This is from the favor of Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) that they have a great reward and recompense in their death. But the best of them are the martyrs in the cause of Allah, those who are killed in the cause of Allah; they are the best of them. They are not washed, nor is the funeral prayer performed over them; because they are alive with their Lord, being provided for.
As for the other martyrs, other than the martyrs in the cause of Allah; such as the one who dies of a stomach ailment, the one struck by the plague, the one who dies under a collapsed building, and the one who dies by drowning, these are washed and the funeral prayer is performed over them. Included with them is the one who dies in a car overturn or a car collision, for this resembles the one who dies under a collapsed building, and martyrdom is hoped for them, but they are washed and the funeral prayer is performed over them, like the one who dies of a stomach ailment or drowning. Yes.
