Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh: The second question?
As for the mu'adhdhin saying, "The prayer has begun"?

Answer: As for "The prayer has begun," it is established from the mu'adhdhin of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and from his teaching that "The prayer has begun" is said twice. This is obligatory ("The prayer has begun... The prayer has begun"); because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) taught the mu'adhdhins the adhan and the iqamah, and in his (peace and blessings be upon him) teaching to them, the iqamah was to be repeated twice. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you.
