The Ruling on a Man Marrying a Woman Who Donated Blood to Him

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The question: He has a second inquiry in his letter, in which he says: I proposed to a twenty-year-old girl, and she provided me with assistance during a medical crisis by donating some of her blood to me before the proposal. Is it permissible for me to marry her? Please advise us, may Allah reward you with good.
The answer: Blood does not have an effect; it is not like breastfeeding. A woman providing a man with her blood, or a man providing a woman with his blood, when there is a need for it, does not carry the ruling of breastfeeding. Therefore, she is not forbidden to him, nor is he forbidden to her, due to the benefit derived from the blood that the patient needs. This does not have the ruling of breastfeeding; rather, it is a matter outside of that, falling under the category of doing good, and it does not prevent marriage. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
