The Meaning of Having a Bad Opinion of Allah and Its Causes

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
You ask and say: What is the meaning of the following phrase: having a bad opinion of Allah?
The answer: Having a bad opinion of Allah means thinking that Allah will not forgive you and that He will not admit you to Paradise; in other words, you hold an inappropriate opinion. This is having a bad opinion of Allah. The same applies to your brothers in faith; having a bad opinion of them means holding an unworthy opinion of them. It is necessary for you to have the best opinion of Allah , because in an authentic hadith, Allah says:
I am to my slave as he thinks of Meأنا عند ظن عبدي بي
Sahih al-Bukhari 7505
And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
No one of you should die except thinking positively of Allah.لا يموتن أحد منكم إلا وهو يحسن ظنه بالله
Sunan Ibn Majah 4167Sahih (Darussalam)
So have a good opinion of Allah and think that He will pardon you , for He is the Pardoner, the Forgiver, and that He will accept from you and admit you to Paradise because you are a monotheist and a Muslim. However, along with this, you must fear evil deeds, because evil deeds anger Him (Glorified and Exalted is He). Fear evil deeds and sins, and have a good opinion of your Lord while repenting to Allah and being cautious. Have a good opinion of your Lord, and do not despair or lose hope, even if you have committed a sin. But you must hasten to repent and make amends before death, because sins lead to having a bad opinion of Allah; they invite one to have a bad opinion of Allah.
So you must fear sins and repent to Allah from them, and strive to have a good opinion of your Lord, who is the Generous, the Noble, the Forgiving, the Merciful, who forgives His monotheist, believing servants and overlooks their evil deeds. As He (Mighty and Majestic) is severe in punishment for those who are negligent in His right and commit His sins. Thus, having a good opinion of Allah must be accompanied by fear of sins, repentance to Allah from them, not being deluded, and not feeling secure from the plot of Allah . Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
