What is the meaning of the saying of the Exalted in Surat Yusuf
the Spirit of Allahرَوْحِ اللَّهِ
[Yusuf:87] in verse number eighty-seven? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send prayers and peace upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance.
The meaning is: the prohibition of despairing from the mercy, kindness, and generosity of Allah,
the Spirit of Allahرَوْحِ اللَّهِ
His mercy and kindness toward His servants, and His bestowal upon them (Exalted and Majestic is He). A person is prohibited from despairing. He said (Exalted and Majestic is He) in another verse:
do not despair of the mercy of Allahلا تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ
[Az-Zumar:53] He explained it
Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allahقُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ لا تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ
[Az-Zumar:53] in Surat Yusuf:
And do not despair of the mercy of Allah.وَلا تَيْئَسُوا مِنْ رَوْحِ اللَّهِ
[Yusuf:87] meaning: from His mercy, kindness, relief, and facilitation. Yes.
