If one returns before 'Asr, should he pray Zuhr or make it up with 'Asr?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A message was received for the program from the brothers: Mazhar Hasan Saleh, and Hussein Sa'id Maqlam—apparently—and Muhammad Ahmad Asfar from South Yemen. The brothers are asking these questions. In their first question, they say:
We are students in a secondary school located about thirteen kilometers from our village. We leave the school at one o'clock in the afternoon, and we do not reach the village until about two o'clock in the afternoon. Is it permissible for us to pray Zuhr immediately upon our arrival, or should we make it up with the 'Asr prayer?

Answer:
It is obligatory for you to pray Zuhr in your place before departing, or after departing, or during the journey. You must not delay it until 'Asr. It must be performed within its time.
And if you pray it before that, while you are in your place at the school at the beginning of the time, that is better and more preferable than praying it on the road, and better than praying it in your town; because prayer at the beginning of its time is better. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
