Is the greeting of the mosque prayed while the mu'adhdhin is calling to prayer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
He also says: If a person enters the mosque and the mu'adhdhin is calling to prayer, should he wait until the mu'adhdhin finishes so that he can pray the greeting of the mosque, or should he pray it while the mu'adhdhin is calling?

Answer:
It is better for him to stand until the adhan is completed; because of the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
When you hear the Mu'adhdhin then say what he saysإذا سمعتم المؤذن فقولوا مثلما يقول
Sunan an-Nasa'i 678Sahih (Darussalam)
This is a command, and the minimum of its status is that it is confirmed and recommended; and because he (peace and blessings be upon him), when he heard the adhan, would respond to the mu'adhdhin, word for word, except in the "hi'lah" (the phrase "hayya 'ala al-falah"), where he would say:
la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahلا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله
Sunan Ibn Majah 3885Da'if (Darussalam)
And it came in a hadith of 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) :
That when a servant responds to the mu'adhdhin in his words, except in the "hi'lah" where he says: "La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah" (There is no power nor strength except with Allah), then he says Allahu Akbar, then he says the same from his heart: "La ilaha illa Allah" (There is no god but Allah), he will enter Paradise.أن العبد إذا أجاب المؤذن في كلماته، إلا في الحيعلة يقول: لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله، ثم يكبر، ثم يقول مثله: لا إله إلا الله، من قلبه، دخل الجنة
.
And this is a great virtue that he should not miss. So when he finishes responding to the mu'adhdhin, he prays the greeting of the mosque. This is the best, and this is the Sunnah, so that he combines between the two Sunnahs: the Sunnah of responding to the mu'adhdhin, and the Sunnah of the greeting of the mosque. Yes.
