Is the greeting of the mosque prayed if the mu'adhdhin is calling to prayer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : As for the greeting of the mosque, if one enters while the mu'adhdhin is calling to prayer, it is permissible to pray it.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace, and upon you be peace. The one who enters the mosque on Friday specifically, while the mu'adhdhin is calling to prayer, must proceed directly to performing the greeting of the mosque. If he waits until the mu'adhdhin finishes his call, or even if he occupies himself with responding to the mu'adhdhin, that will burden him. And upon you be peace, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. My car is a car.
The student : No, the car behind you is warning you about the car behind you.

The Shaykh : That will occupy him later with listening to the khutbah. Listening to the khutbah and paying attention to it is obligatory, whereas responding to the mu'adhdhin is recommended. If the matter comes down to being occupied with a recommended act that prevents one from performing an obligatory act, then the recommended act is left so that one is not occupied away from performing the obligatory act. The meaning of this statement is that if the mu'adhdhin begins the adhan and he has not yet finished or has not reached the greeting of the mosque, he should occupy himself with the greeting of the mosque and not occupy himself with responding to the mu'adhdhin. Is that clear?
The student : Clear, my Shaykh.
