Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This questioner (Sh. 'A. B.) says: Regarding a traveler who shortens and combines his prayers, if he comes to the mosque at the time of prayer and finds that those before him have already called for the prayer and are praying while they are residents, what should he do? Should he pray with them, or wait for another congregation?

Answer:
You must pray with them and complete the prayer. You pray with them and complete the prayer to four rak'ahs if it is the midday, afternoon, or night prayer. Do not wait; pray with the congregation. And praise be to Allah. Yes.
