The ruling on one who stoned the pillars with six pebbles

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
We return at the beginning of this episode to the message from listener Muhammad Saleh al-Sharqi al-Mari, from the city of al-Murrah in the State of Qatar. Brother Muhammad raised a question for us in a previous episode, and in this episode he says: On the last day of the days of Tashreeq, when I performed Hajj that year, while stoning the pillars, I distributed the pebbles among my pockets. I put seven pebbles in the right pocket, seven in the left, and seven in the chest pocket. I stoned the small, middle, and large pillars. When I went to the house, I found one pebble in the chest pocket. Is there anything required of me?
May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance. As for what follows:
The correct view in this matter is that nothing is required of you, and that the single pebble is excused. Praise be to Allah, it is established from some of the Companions that when they returned from their Hajj, some of them said, "I stoned with six," and another said, "I stoned with seven," and they did not blame one another. So there is no blame in the single pebble, if Allah wills, but one should not intentionally do so.
However, if one forgot or made a mistake, there is no blame on him. As for intentional action, it is not permissible to be intentional. It is obligatory to stone each one with seven, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did. Some scholars said that he owes a mudd of wheat, or half a sa' of wheat, or rice in place of the single pebble, but there is no evidence for this. So the matter in this is, if Allah wills, lenient, and you are excused, if Allah wills. Yes.

The presenter: If Allah wills, may Allah reward you with good.
