This is a message received by the program from the listener: Abbas Ali Ahmad Bukhari from Ta'if. He says in it: It was mentioned in the statement of some scholars: The Sunnah is that the pillars are stoned on days other than the Day of Sacrifice, and there is a hadith from Jabir, his words being: , so does that mean it is permissible for the pilgrim to delay the stoning of a day to what follows it, or to delay all the stoning to the last of the days of Tashreeq with nothing required of him? Please inform us, may Allah reward you?
Answer: The Sunnah is that the pilgrim stons on the Day of Eid, in the morning, seven pebbles at the Jamrat al-Aqabah. As for the remaining days, it is after the sun passes its zenith (zawal) in each day; he stons the three pillars with twenty-one pebbles, stoning each one with seven after the sun passes its zenith. This is what is prescribed, which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did, and it is what Jabir and others narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Jabir and others (may Allah be pleased with them all) narrated: This is what is prescribed. And whoever delays the stoning due to excuses he has or crowding, and stons after the sun passes its zenith on the eleventh day for the Jamrat al-Aqabah, or delays all of it to the thirteenth or twelfth day, and stons them in order, arranging the pillars as Allah has prescribed, stoning the pillar of the Eid day first with the intention, then stoning the three pillars for the eleventh day, then stoning them for the twelfth day in order, it suffices him according to a group of scholars. But the more preferable, the better, and the Sunnah is to do as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did, stoning on the Day of Eid in the morning. And if he stons in the last part of the night of the night of Eid, it suffices, especially for the weak and the elderly. And if he stons on the Day of Eid in the morning, it is better if that is facilitated. And the remaining pillars are stoned after the sun passes its zenith. And if it is difficult after the sun passes its zenith and it is not facilitated for him ...... in Dhuhr and Asr, he stons after sunset for the previous day, according to the correct of the scholars' statements. So he has the stoning at night for the previous day; but if he stons after the sun passes its zenith and before sunset, it is better and more cautious. And if that is difficult for him and the stoning is not facilitated for him, he stons after sunset for the day whose sun has set. This is the correct and this is the chosen position. As for before the sun passes its zenith, no, he does not ston before the sun passes its zenith on the days of Tashreeq, not after Fajr nor before the sun passes its zenith. Rather, he stons after the sun passes its zenith, after the time of Dhuhr enters until the setting of the sun. This is the best. If he is crowded or it is difficult for him, he stons after sunset, and praise be to Allah. Yes.
