The righteous child whose supplication is accepted?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner (A. A.) asks: What are the conditions for the righteous child whose supplication is accepted?

Answer:
The righteous child is the one who is upright in the religion of Allah. He is the one who is upright in performing the obligatory acts and avoiding the forbidden acts. He is the believer, and he is the one who fears Allah. This is the righteous one. It is hoped that his supplication will be answered when he prays for his parents or for others. This is unlike the open sinner, for his open sinfulness may prevent the acceptance of the supplication. The open sinner who persists in sins, such as unlawful sexual intercourse, or drinking intoxicants, or undutifulness to parents, or consuming usury or interest, or the like of that.
So the righteous child is the believer who fears Allah, who performs the obligatory acts of Allah and guards against the forbidden acts of Allah. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
