Ruling on Combining Two Prayers for the Sick Person

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This questioner is from Buraydah, and he has indicated his name with the initials (J. R). He says in this question: Your Eminence, is it permissible for a sick person to combine prayers? If so, is it permissible for one whose leg has been broken and set in a cast to combine prayers?
Please issue a ruling on this, may Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
Yes, a sick person may combine two prayers. One whose leg is in a cast is a sick person and may combine, and there is no blame on him. This applies between the midday and afternoon prayers, and between the sunset and night prayers, in the time of one of them. If it does not cause him hardship, he should pray each one in its own time. And praise be to Allah.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
