The Shari'ah-prescribed dress for the Muslim woman and the ruling on her working among men

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
She says about herself: I am a Muslim woman, and I work. What are the characteristics of Islamic clothing that I must wear? Is wearing brightly colored clothes forbidden? Or is it not?
And is wearing shiny silk clothes lawful? Or is it not? And is wearing decorated clothes lawful? Or is it forbidden? Please guide us on this matter. May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
If you are among women, you wear what Allah has made pleasing for you, and it is better that it be moderate clothing, without affectation or showing off; because this may cause confusion for those working with you; it may lead them to affect themselves like you. So, wear moderate clothing, similar to your colleagues; so that confusion does not arise for them, or they are not forced to imitate you and affect themselves. Wear the usual, appropriate clothing that has no affectation.
As for among men, do not work among them. If the work is among men, do not work among men at all. Look for another job that is not among men. For your presence among men, as a secretary, or a doctor among male doctors, or a nurse among male nurses, this contains great danger and fitnah (trial, discord or temptation). So I advise you to be cautious of this matter.
As for among women, praise be to Allah, the matter is broad. But we advise that the clothing be similar, without showing off or affectation, but similar to the clothing of the colleagues. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
