Ruling on hiring a Muslim maid without a mahram

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
You are asking a final question, O Shaykh, and you say: My sister has a disabled daughter who is six years old. The child is very burdensome for her mother and requires a lot of care. Her mother is not medically qualified to handle this because she is ill, has other children, and is also pregnant. She only delivers via cesarean section, and her doctors advise her not to carry heavy objects or strain herself with heavy things. Is it permissible for her to hire a Muslim maid to take care of this child, knowing that this maid will be without a mahram and will live with them in the house? Is this permissible or not? Please inform us, and may Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
If there are other women in the house besides you, there is no harm in that. The father of the children must provide the mahram with the necessary travel ticket costs for the woman, both for the trip there and back. If it is easy to find a maid in the country without needing to bring her from abroad, and a good maid is available, there is no harm, provided there is someone else in the house besides you to be with the maid, so that seclusion with the father of the children does not occur.
The point is, if the situation does not involve danger or fear of committing a sin, and there is someone in the house with whom the maid shares the space, and who is with the maid and serves as a safeguard against seclusion with your husband, then there is no harm, if Allah wills, and no blame. You and your husband must cover the cost of the mahram's ticket if she is being brought from abroad. If it is easy to find someone from within the country, that is good. Yes.
