The ruling on eating with the left hand for one who has lost some of the fingers of the right hand

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Our sister says: My hand was burned when I was young, and it is my right hand, which caused me to lose my little finger and ring finger. What is my ruling regarding eating with my left hand? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
You eat with the three: the thumb, the middle finger, and the index finger, and praise be to Allah, you eat with them, or with a spoon, and do not eat with the left hand. The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
When any of you eats, he should eat with his right hand, and when he drinks, he should drink with his right hand, for the devil eats with his left hand and drinks with his left hand.إذا أكل أحدكم فليأكل بيمينه، وإذا شرب فليشرب بيمينه؛ فإن الشيطان يأكل بشماله ويشرب بشماله
Sunan Abi Dawud 3776Sahih (Al-Albani)
The loss of the little finger and the ring finger does not prevent eating. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to eat with three fingers, may Allah send prayers and blessings upon him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to eat with three fingers, so you eat with the three, and if that does not work, then with a spoon. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
