The first question of Fatwa number ( 6008 )
Q 1: I have a neighbor who gave my young daughter a drink with her left hand. When I objected to her, saying that Satan drinks with his left hand, and brought her the correct evidence from the words of the Messenger of Allah and the hadith of the girl and the Bedouin, she countered me by saying that that was for a person to drink for himself, and not for drinking for another. I ask for an answer to this question, because my neighbor was not convinced.
Vol. 1: It is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a hadith of Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) thatSahih al-Bukhari 3306 , and the reason given for the command is that Satan eats and drinks with his left hand. And in a hadith of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him
(may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade eating with the left hand, saying:Sunan Ibn Majah 3268Sahih (Darussalam) From these hadiths, it becomes clear that the prohibition of eating and drinking with the left hand is so that we do not imitate our enemy, Satan. As for the hadith of the girl and the Bedouin whom Satan brought to eat without mentioning the name of Allah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took their hands so that Satan would not eat with their eating, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) explained the reason, saying: Mishkat al-Masabih 4237 In another narration: It was narrated by Muslim in (Sahih).

I have not heard him ordering that it should be killed.
النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - أمر بالأكل باليمين والشرب باليمين(may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade eating with the left hand, saying:
Do not eat with your left hand, for Satan eats with his left hand.
لا تأكلوا بالشمال فإن الشيطان يأكل بالشمالThe devil considers food lawful when God’s name is not mentioned over it, and he brought this girl th at it might be lawful by means of her, so I seized her hand; then he brought this nomadic Arab that it might be lawful by means of him, so I seized his hand. By Him in whose hand my soul is, the devil’s hand is in mine along with hers.
