Sudden Death and Its Consideration as One of the Signs of the Hour

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is sudden death one of the signs of the Hour? Is there anything that protects one from it? Is seeking refuge in Allah from it sufficient?

Answer:
Some hadiths indicate that sudden death will become common in the last times. It is a seizure of anger for the wicked and a relief for the believer. A believer may be struck by sudden death through a stroke or otherwise, and it may be a relief for him and a blessing from Allah upon him; because he had prepared himself, was upright, and was ready for death, and he strived in good. So he is taken suddenly while in a good state, in goodness and righteous deeds, and he is relieved from the tribulations of death, the fatigue of death, and the hardships of death.
As for the wicked, this may happen to the wicked, and that seizure may be a seizure of anger upon them. They are taken by surprise in the worst of states. We ask Allah for well-being. We seek refuge in Allah. Yes.

The presenter: We ask Allah for safety. May Allah reward you with good.
