The Rulings Established by Breastfeeding

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
If I have maternal aunts, and they have sons and daughters, and one of them breastfed me the number of feedings considered valid by the Shari'ah, within the two-year period, but her son did not breastfeed from my mother, am I his brother and the brother of all his siblings, and he is the same? Or are we brothers to each other only, not to my siblings or his siblings, on the basis that the breastfeeding occurred only between us two?
May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
If a person is breastfed by his maternal aunt a complete breastfeeding of five times or more within the two-year period, then all of her children are his brothers: the one with him, the one before him, and the one after him. If a person is breastfed by his maternal aunt, or his paternal aunt, or anyone else, a complete breastfeeding of five times or more while he is within the two-year period before being weaned, then this breastfeeding is a Shari'ah breastfeeding. He becomes her son, and he becomes the brother of all her children, the eldest and the youngest, the one breastfed with him, the one before him, and the one after him. However, they do not become brothers to your siblings who were not breastfed. They are brothers to you only, and you are their brother, because you were breastfed by their mother, who is your mother, and their father is your grandfather, and their sisters are your maternal aunts, and their brothers are your maternal uncles. Yes.
