The conditions by which the rulings of breastfeeding are established

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Our sister also asks and says: My mother breastfed my maternal cousin, and my maternal aunt breastfed me, but they do not remember the number of breastfeedings. Is it permissible for me to uncover them on the basis that they are my brothers through breastfeeding? He has an older brother; is he also considered my brother?

Answer:
It is not valid for him to be a brother unless there are five known breastfeedings. If the mother or the aunt does not have a precise record, then the breastfeeding is not acted upon, and the obligatory thing is hijab (covering). He does not become a brother unless it is established that your mother breastfed him five times or more, or that your maternal aunt breastfed you five times or more.
If it is established that your mother breastfed him, or breastfed all of your maternal aunt’s sons, with complete breastfeeding of five times or more during the two-year period before weaning; then he or all of his brothers become your brothers. If his breastfeeding from them is established, he becomes your brother, if his breastfeeding is established as five times or more during the two-year period before weaning; then whoever has this breastfeeding becomes your brother, whether it is one time or more.
And you likewise, if your maternal aunt breastfed you five times or more while you were within the two-year period, with known breastfeeding in which she has no doubt; then you become her daughter and a sister to all of her children. And Allah is the One to be sought for help. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
