How is repentance from sins? And how is Ramadan utilized for that?

Question:
A message was received by the program from one of the listening brothers, who described himself by saying: "The regretful, with conflicting thoughts (S. A. S)." Our brother has multiple issues, among which is an issue I summarized in this question: How is repentance from major sins?
And how is Ramadan utilized for the expiation of sins?

Answer:
Repentance for all sins must include three matters, as mentioned by the scholars of knowledge:
The first is: regret for the sin that has passed, that he regrets it and is grieved by having done it.
The second matter is: ceasing from it, and leaving it out of fear of Allah and exalting Him.
The third matter is: the sincere resolve not to return to it. This is how repentance is, and by this Allah erases the sins and removes the evil deeds, as He said (peace and blessings be upon him):
And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.
[An-Nur:31], and He said, Exalted is He:
But indeed, I am the Perpetual Forgiver of whoever repents and believes and does righteousness and then continues in guidance.
[Ta-Ha:82].
This encompasses all sins, shirk (associating partners with Allah) and what is below it. When he repents to Allah from that with this repentance—regret for the past, ceasing from it, leaving it, and the sincere resolve not to return to it out of fear of Allah and exalting Him—he is considered a repentant person, and he becomes as if he had not sinned
The one who repents from sin is like one who did not sin.
Sunan Ibn Majah 4250Da’if (Darussalam)
.
But if the right from which he repented pertains to the created beings, then a fourth matter is also necessary, which is returning their right to them, or seeking their forgiveness from it, as the scholars of knowledge have explicitly stated, and as the Sunnah has brought. It is authentic from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
Whoever has with him an injustice against his brother, whether in honor or something else, let him seek his pardon today before there is no dirham or dinar. If he has a good deed, it will be taken from his good deeds according to the amount of his injustice. If he has no good deeds, it will be taken from their evil deeds and placed upon him.
.
So it is obligatory for the one who has rights of people with him to pay them to them, or to seek their pardon from them, so that his repentance is completed and his repentance is perfected. If he does not do so, this part remains upon him, and he will be retaliated against on the Day of Resurrection for the owner of the right, either by giving from his good deeds, or by bearing the evil deeds of the oppressed according to his condition.
And in the other hadith, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the people:
What do you consider to be the bankrupt among you?
They said: Who is the one who has no dirham or goods? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
But the bankrupt is the one who comes on the Day of Resurrection with prayer, fasting, and zakah, and comes having struck this one, insulted this one, falsely accused this one, struck this one, and taken the wealth of this one. So this one is given from his good deeds, and this one from his good deeds. If his good deeds are exhausted and he has not settled what is upon him, it is taken from their evil deeds and placed upon him, then he is thrown into the Fire.
We seek refuge in Allah.
So it is obligatory for the one who has something belonging to others, whether wealth, blood, or honor, to seek their pardon, and to ask them to permit it and forgive him, or to satisfy them with whatever he wishes, so that he is safe from the liability of this injustice. If he does not do so, its burden and liability remain upon him until the Day of Resurrection.
As for the rest of the sins, as mentioned before, regret, ceasing, and the sincere resolve not to return to them are sufficient for them. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
