How to maintain balance in this life
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A message was received for the program from our brother Yahya al-Sayyid 'Abd al-Hadi al-Madani, a student at the Institute of Fine Arts in Riyadh. He has a number of issues, and in one of them he asks and says: Can a person maintain balance in this life?
Answer:
Yes, he can, with the success of Allah. With the success of Allah, he can preserve himself and strive against his soul until he stands firm in obedience to Allah, leaves His prohibitions, and stands by His limits. He should also keep the company of the good and stay away from the evil. This is with the success of Allah; he asks Allah and seeks His help. When he is sincere with Allah, Allah will help him:[At-Talaq 65:2] and He will provide for him from where he does not expect [Al-Talaq: 2-3], [Al-Talaq: 4].
So whoever stands firm in mindfulness of Allah, strives against his soul for the sake of Allah, preserves what Allah has made obligatory upon him, stays away from what Allah has forbidden, stands by the limits, and hastens to repent from the evil deeds in which his foot may have slipped, then Allah will help him and grant him success. By doing so, he will be balanced and upright. His status may be raised because of his sincere striving and his righteous deeds, until he becomes among those who are brought near.
The presenter: Allah is the Helper.
The Shaykh: We seek help from Allah. Yes.
