Who are the relatives mentioned in the Qur'an?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Who are the relatives mentioned in the Book of Allah? I ask for clarification regarding them.

Answer:
Allah the Exalted says:
But those of [blood] relationship are more entitled [to inheritance] in the decree of Allahوَأُولُو الْأَرْحَامِ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلَى بِبَعْضٍ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ
[Al-Anfal: 75]. They are the kin; the relatives are the close ones from your father's side and your mother's side. They are called the *awliya al-rahim* (those with kinship ties).
In the early days of Islam, inheritance was among the Muhajirun, but then Allah abrogated that and made it for the relatives: the close kin, along with the wife and the husband. So He the Exalted said:
But those of [blood] relationship are more entitled [to inheritance] in the decree of Allahوَأُولُو الْأَرْحَامِ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلَى بِبَعْضٍ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ
[Al-Anfal 8:75]
. Thus, your brother, your sister, your paternal uncle, your maternal brother, your mother, and your grandmothers are all among the relatives.
Then they are divided into categories: some inherit, and some do not. The parents, the grandfathers, the grandmothers, the children, and the brothers are all among the heirs, and so are the paternal uncles.
