The Shaykh’s Loss of Some of His Books

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : By the way, the hadiths of sales that you were working on for the College of Sharia, do you have them memorized, or are they still with Zuhayr?

The Shaykh : By Allah, today I was speaking with our brother al-Khatib, because here we have suspended something similar to this, so I do not know where Safiyan is.

The questioner : But your copy of it is here.

The Shaykh : What?

The questioner : Your copy of it, is it with you?

The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : Praise be to Allah, meaning Zuhayr’s copy is not the only one; there are others.

The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : And that one, did he not return it to you?

The Shaykh : How?

The questioner : The copy that was with him, did he not return it to you? It remained with him?

The Shaykh : By Allah, I no longer remember now regarding that one, regarding the one that was with him, because the truth is I have a doubt that some of my books that I am missing are with him, including "Mukhtasar Muslim." Because it did not come with the library, nor is it in my shop, so I do not rule out that it is with him, and I have been informed that it is with him.

The questioner : Well, things like this, by Allah, must also be retrieved. Meaning, now the connection is cut off; we gave what was ours, and if he has any trusts, please take them.

The Shaykh : You are still looking at the man with your previous view.

The questioner : Two people cut off relations and describe what is between them.
