Ruling on Combining Prayers for Firefighters

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I work in civil defense, and sometimes a fire breaks out, so the operation begins at the time of the Maghrib prayer. I remain occupied until the Adhan for Isha. Is it permissible for me in this case to combine the two prayers?

Answer:
Yes, this is one of the greatest pressing needs. If a fire occurs, you begin with the fire, even if you delay Maghrib until Isha, or delay Zuhr until Asr, or delay Asr until the sun sets, even if the time passes. This is because it is important and will be missed, and its danger is great. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) delayed the Asr prayer until the sun set on the Day of the Trench when the fighting intensified, and he prayed it after Maghrib, peace and blessings be upon him.
The point is that if there is the danger of a fire, or the danger of collapse, or something similar among the great matters where it is feared that the matter will be missed and not remedied, then one begins with it to avert its danger, even if one delays the prayer, or combines it with the prayer that follows it.
