Is the full ritual bath obligatory for one who washes a dead body?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
May Allah forgive you, O Shaykh. Is it not the correct view that one who washes a dead body does not need to perform the ablution or the full ritual bath if he did not touch the washing with his hand?

Answer:
How did he wash it?
Q: With gloves, from behind a barrier.
The Shaykh: It is known that performing the ablution after washing a dead body is a recommended practice. It is established from the hadith of Aisha that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform the full ritual bath after washing a dead body. It is also established from the wife of al-Siddiq that the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) issued a ruling for her that she did not need to perform the full ritual bath when the cold became severe for her, which indicates that the full ritual bath was known to them as the practice, were it not for the excuse.
