Is it permissible for a man to kiss his sister through breastfeeding?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
If a male and a female are siblings through breastfeeding, is it permissible for each of them to kiss the other?

Answer:
Breastfeeding is like blood kinship. Allah the Exalted said:
your [milk] mothers who nursed you, your sisters through nursingوَأُمَّهَاتُكُمُ اللَّاتِي أَرْضَعْنَكُمْ وَأَخَوَاتُكُمْ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ
[Surat al-Nisa: 23], and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Breast-feeding makes unlawful (for marriages) the same things that blood tie make unlawful.يحرم من الرضاع ما يحرم من النسب
Sunan Ibn Majah 1937Sahih (Darussalam)
. Just as one kisses his mother who gave birth to him, he kisses his mother through breastfeeding, and his sister through breastfeeding, and so on. This is what Allah has made permissible for him.
However, it should be done on the forehead, the nose, or the cheek, not in the mouth. This is more appropriate. The Companion al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) used to kiss Aisha on her cheek.
In conclusion, if he kisses the head of his mother through breastfeeding, or his older sister through breastfeeding, or his maternal aunt through breastfeeding, or the like, or his daughter through breastfeeding, there is nothing wrong with it. However, it is better to kiss the older one on the head, the nose, or the forehead, and the younger one on the cheek. All of this is good. As for a small child, there is nothing wrong with kissing him on the mouth, whether the child is a boy or a girl, because they are not objects of desire and they are not a source of danger. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss al-Hasan and al-Husayn when they were young (may Allah be pleased with them and grant them satisfaction).
