How can a Muslim be a caller to Allah in his home?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
How can a Muslim return to his calling in his home and have an impact on them?

Answer:
The point is that he must work in his home in obedience to Allah and the Shari'ah of Allah. He must adhere to the Shari'ah of Allah and be a role model for his family by acting in obedience to Allah and being cautious of the prohibitions of Allah, so that they may follow his example. If he is sincere and adheres to the Shari'ah of Allah in his actions and words, his children, brothers, wife, and others will take him as a model. If they disobey him, he should address the matter with wisdom, addressing it with kind words and a good manner.
And if he is able to discipline some of his children or his wife when they disobey him in what Allah has made obligatory, he should discipline them with appropriate, light discipline that helps them to obey Allah and helps them to leave the prohibitions of Allah. A person strikes, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
and beat them for it at tenواضربوهم عليها لعشرٍ
regarding the children, and he said regarding women:
and strike themواضربوهنَّ
. So if he sees that it is wise to strike the woman so that she performs what Allah has made obligatory and leaves what Allah has forbidden, then he may strike her with a light strike that does not cause harm, if he is able to do so and thinks that this will be beneficial. And so it is with his children if he is able to do so.
But the most important thing is that he be a good role model: that he hasten in good deeds and be upright in acts of obedience, so that they see from him good actions and good words, and so that they may take him as a model.
