How can the caller say, "I have established the proof against the people"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : All right, how can the caller say, "I have established the proof against the people," and was there a discussion that took place once, twice, three times, or more?

The Shaykh: First of all, we must state that the caller to Allah must be a scholar, and we must not take this term lightly or fail to give it its due weight.
And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, "Indeed, I am of the Muslims." وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلًا مِمَّنْ دَعَا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا وَقَالَ إِنَّنِي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
[Fussilat 41:33]
As we mentioned earlier, the one who calls to Allah calls to the Book of Allah, not to a school of thought or a path. It is not sufficient for the caller, for example, to be a Salafi in creed, but to be unable to present tawhid (the oneness of Allah) with its scriptural evidence from the Book and the Sunnah, or to present the call of the Messenger (peace be upon him) as it came, even in a brief form. Not every caller is able to perform this obligatory duty; therefore, we know that one has fulfilled the duty if he is a scholar known for his knowledge, and for the kind of knowledge that is true knowledge, saying "Allah said" and "The Messenger of Allah said" as we mentioned earlier. As for the fact that every person, meaning an ordinary man who is Salafi in creed, and praise be to Allah, whose prayer is according to the Sunnah, and so on, but who is not skilled in calling to what he is upon, is like a student with a teacher, exactly.

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh: All right.
