The ruling on intercourse with a woman after the marriage contract but before consummation

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the ruling on a man having intercourse with his wife after the marriage contract is concluded, while she is still in her parents' house?

Answer:
He should not have intercourse with her until the consummation and entry into her marriage take place; because this intercourse is generally a source of harm, and severe consequences are feared from it: that she may be accused of being a fornicator, or that he may deny it. The point is that this is dangerous. He should not have intercourse with her except after the consummation, even if he has already contracted the marriage, unless it is done with the knowledge of her family, in a clear manner, meaning: he does it in the presence of her family, or they bring her to him knowing that, in which case the matter is easier. But patience until he consummates the marriage, and until there is the well-known consummation and the well-known announcement, this is what is recommended, so that no fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) occurs, and so that nothing happens with bad consequences: his denial, or her accusation of committing a lewd act.
So what I see is that it is never recommended except in the manner known to people, which is the consummation and the announcement.
