Guiding the scholars' statement: "Allah and His Messenger know best" in their writings

Question:
From Libya, this is a message sent by a listener from there. He says: Muhammad Husayn Bani, our brother says: I present to you the following question, which reads: Knowledge of the unseen is restricted to the Lord and no one else, and there are Qur'anic verses that confirm the Lord's exclusive possession of it, apart from others. However, we find in many books, when we look through them, that at the end of a hadith or phrase or page, it is written (Allah and His Messenger know best). What does that mean?
Does the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) know the unseen in his life and after his death as well? We ask your eminence to answer us and benefit us, and to provide evidence from the Noble Qur'an if possible? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
Yes, just as the questioner mentioned, knowledge of the unseen belongs to Allah , and the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) or anyone else does not have knowledge of the unseen; rather, it is exclusive to Allah , as Allah the Exalted said:
Say, "None in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except Allahقُلْ لا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ الْغَيْبَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ
[Surah al-Naml: 65], the verse from Surah al-Naml. He said :
Say, "I hold not for myself [the power of] benefit or harm, except what Allah has willed. And if I knew the unseen, I could have acquired much wealth, and no harm would have touched me. I am not except a warner and a bringer of good tidings to a people who believe."
[Surah al-A'raf: 188], thus in Surah al-A'raf. And He the Exalted says:
And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him.
[Surah al-An'am: 59].
The unseen belongs to Allah , and He is exclusive in it . He knows what was and what will be, and what did not happen but if it had happened, how it would have been. He knows what will be in the Hereafter, and what is in Paradise and Hellfire, and He knows the saved from the perished, and He knows the people of Paradise, and He knows the people of Hellfire, and He knows everything .
And the Messengers only know what came to them through revelation. What Allah revealed to them, they know, as He said :
[He is] Knower of the unseen, and He does not disclose His [knowledge of the] unseen to anyone
[Al-Jinn 72:26]
EXCEPT WHOM HE CHOOSES OF A MESSENGER [Surah al-Jinn: 26-27]. So Allah reveals to the Messengers what He wills, just as He revealed to our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) many things regarding the Hereafter, the Day of Resurrection, the matters of Paradise and Hellfire, and what will happen in the end times, such as the Dajjal, the descent of the Messiah, the destruction of the Ka'bah, Gog and Magog, and other things that will happen in the end times. All of this is from the knowledge of the unseen that Allah revealed to His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so He taught us, and it became known to people.
And likewise, what people know of the matters of the unseen when it occurs, in their lands or in other lands, becomes known to them after it occurs, whereas they did not know it before that.
As for what appears in the books of the scholars, "Allah and His Messenger know best," this is with regard to matters of the Shari'ah and the rulings of the Shari'ah. Their meaning is: in his lifetime, he (peace and blessings be upon him) knew these things. But after his death, he does not know what happens in the world, nor does he know what occurs in the world; because with his death, his knowledge of the conditions of people was cut off (peace and blessings be upon him), except for what is presented to him through the prayer and blessings upon him, as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
But invoke blessings on me, for your blessings reach me wherever you may be.
Sunan Abi Dawud 2042Sahih (Al-Albani)
In the authentic hadith:
Indeed, Allah has angels who move about and convey to me the greetings of my Ummah (community).
(peace and blessings be upon him).
As for the matters of people, the events of people, and what happens from them of errors or oppression or good deeds, all of this the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) does not know, nor does anyone else who has passed away, who has died, nor does the one who comes after know it. And those around them from the people may know it by their reading of it and their witnessing their actions, from their companions and the people of their land.
So the point is that knowledge of the unseen is not known by anyone but Allah , and what Allah revealed to the Messengers is from the knowledge of the unseen that He informed them of ; they informed the people of it and taught it to the people.
And it is authentic from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that ...... He says: "O my Lord! My nation, my nation." It is said to him: "You do not know what they have done after you." He says -as the righteous servant said-: AND I WAS A WITNESS OVER THEM AS LONG AS I WAS AMONG THEM, BUT WHEN YOU TOOK ME [Surah al-Ma'idah: 117]......
