The Shaykh : Anyone else?

The questioner : In a question that reached us from abroad, we cannot say: I was asked about this a while ago and forgot to ask: that a person was involved in an accident, an accident that led to his admission to the hospital, and he was in a state of struggle between death and life, so he was admitted to the hospital, on a hospital table in the operating room, and he passed away, his heart stopped working, so the doctors began to massage and stimulate the heart, and deliver electric shocks, and they placed the electrical electrodes on his chest, so these electrodes, with the advancement of science, these new ones, his heart began to work, so he was placed in a room under resuscitation, so the person is unconscious and has lost consciousness and is functioning through electricity, this procedure is costly, and it cannot continue for long, and if the electrical device is disconnected it leads to the heart stopping, so what is to be done here? Is it considered killing this person to disconnect this electricity from him?!

The Shaykh : No, it is not considered killing, as long as this science that has reached this unnatural state of life rules that this human being will not live a natural life by these means, so these means are removed from him, as long as they do not result in a natural life.

The questioner : The second branch.

The Shaykh: Is it clear?

The questioner : Is that clear?

The Shaykh: All right.
