The Ruling on a Woman Praying Tarawih in a Men's Mosque

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The listener (F. N. H. M. Mutayri) sent a question saying: Is it permissible for a woman to pray Tarawih in the mosque with the men?

Answer:
Yes, it is recommended for her to do so if she fears becoming lazy at home; otherwise, her home is better. However, if there is a need for it, there is no blame on her. The women used to pray the five daily prayers with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), but he said:
Their homes are better for themبيتهن خير لهن
. However, some women may become lazy and weak at home. So, if her going out to the mosque is while she is covered, wearing the hijab, and far from displaying her adornment, for the purpose of prayer and listening to knowledge, then she is rewarded for this, because this is a good purpose. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
