Is regret for the sin and abandoning it sufficient in repentance?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner from al-Qassim asks: When I repented to Allah and thanked Him for it regarding my sins, which are great and I regretted them, but now, after a period of time, I no longer cry when I remember them, although I am deeply regretful. Is this a degree of negligence?

Answer:
Regret is sufficient as long as you have regretted them, abandoned them, and resolved not to return to them. This is repentance. Even if you did not cry, the conditions of repentance are three:
Regret for the past, abandoning the sin, and the sincere resolve not to return to it. If these three are fulfilled, the repentance is complete, praise be to Allah, and Allah covers the sin.
And if the sin involves another person, the fourth condition is necessary: seeking the other person's forgiveness or giving them their right. If you have wronged a person, you must either give them their right or seek their forgiveness. If they forgive you, the repentance is complete. This is the fourth condition for one who has wronged another. Yes.
