Is it permissible to disobey the one in authority if he orders internal fighting?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Another question from the sisters says: In some Islamic countries, there are internal wars, and the government compels its citizens to enter and participate in these wars. Perhaps the war is between a group of Muslims and another group of Muslims. Is it permissible for a Muslim to disobey the order of that authority, considering the persecution he may face? We thank you greatly.

Answer:
This requires detailed explanation: It is obligatory for the one who is ordered to do this to look into the matter. If the one being fought deserves to be fought, such as the rebels (baghat) against the people of justice, or the Khawarij, or one who deserves to be fought for rebelling against an imam who does not deserve to be rebelled against, then he should fight alongside them against those people. This is as the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) fought alongside 'Ali against the Khawarij when they rebelled against him and killed some of the Muslims; they supported 'Ali until the Khawarij were killed. And as they stood with 'Ali in fighting the people of Sham, because they were considered rebels against 'Ali and his companions, as in the authentic hadith:
A band of rebels would kill `Ammar.تقتل عمارا الفئة الباغية
Sahih Muslim 2916c
. This is the truth.
However, if the Muslim knows, according to his independent legal reasoning and his knowledge, that this fighting is not permissible, and that it is injustice on the part of the state in killing these people, and that it is not permissible for them to kill them, then he does not obey the state in that matter
Obedience is in matters which are good and universally recognized.إنما الطاعة في المعروف
Sunan Abi Dawud 2625Sahih (Al-Albani)
and
A creature is not to be obeyed when it involves disobedience to the "Creator.”لا طاعة لمخلوق في معصية الخالق
Mishkat al-Masabih 3696
. If he knows that the order to engage in this fighting is not permissible by the Shari'ah, and that it is not permissible for the state by the Shari'ah to kill this person or these people because there is no valid cause for their killing, then it is not permissible for him to obey them, even if he is imprisoned, even if he is harmed, or even if he is killed.
