Ruling on establishing a second congregation after the first congregation has finished in the mosque

Question:
What is the ruling on a congregation that is late, and another congregation prays after the prayer for which the call was made with the regular imam?

Answer:
There is no harm in this. If they arrive and the imam has already prayed, they establish a prayer for another congregation and pray. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) established another congregation for the person who entered and had missed the prayer. He said to some of those present: They should pray in congregation; because a man’s prayer with another man is more complete than his prayer alone. So if he missed the congregation and found others, he prayed with them all in congregation. Anas and others of the Companions did this.
As for the statement of some scholars that they do not pray in congregation, but rather return to their homes and pray individually, this statement is of no value; it is the weaker and weak position, contrary to the Sunnah and contrary to the principles of the Shari'ah.

Question : Who catches the final tashahhud?

Answer: It is better to enter with them, even if it is only for the final tashahhud; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: So if they catch what they have prayed, they enter with the imam, even with the congregation.

Question : Even if the prayer is repeated after the Fajr prayer in the times when it is prohibited?

Answer: Even if so, whether it is Fajr, or 'Asr, or any other, if they come to them while they are praying, they enter with them. This is the best, this is the Sunnah, even if he has already prayed.
