Ruling on saying: “I divorce you three times if you do not do such-and-such, I will divorce you”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first message in this episode came from listener Abdullah Abd al-Jawwad Abdullah, an Egyptian. He says in his message: I swore a divorce oath on my wife using these words: “I divorce you three times if you do not do such-and-such work and deny it, I will divorce you.” Knowing that the work referred to was one of the righteous deeds. After that, I heard her speak about that work while she was angry with the children, so I said to myself: If I do not divorce her with a revocable divorce, the previously mentioned suspended triple divorce will take effect. So I said to her: “Then you are divorced.” After that, I took her back during the waiting period after her repentance. Knowing that the work on which we disagree is the regular performance of prayer. The question is: Is this taking back that I did valid, or does the first divorce take effect? Please inform us, may Allah reward you.
Answer: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance.
As for what follows:
The answer to this question is that we refer you to the judge in your area so that he may look into what occurred between you and her, and then answer you accordingly. Or, if you are in the Kingdom, come to us and we will look into the matter by giving you a letter to the judge in your area so that he may look into the matter in your presence, the presence of the wife, and the presence of her guardian, so that we may be certain of the nature of the reality and be clear about it. We ask Allah for success for everyone. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
