The ruling on one who pronounces a final divorce with three revocations

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: The wife’s father, E. A., came to me, accompanied by the husband, H. A. The husband admitted that he had divorced his wife with a final divorce of three revocations for temporary reasons. He stated that he had written the divorce of three revocations in a single word, but did not utter anything, no one was present, and he did not divorce her in any other way. When the wife’s father was asked, he replied that he knew nothing about the aforementioned divorce except from his daughter’s husband’s statement. He also replied that he did not know that the husband had divorced her except for this divorce. They all agreed that she gave birth to her child after the divorce, and they sought my ruling on the matter.

Answer: I issued a ruling to both of them that one revocation of divorce had taken place with his wife through this divorce, and the husband may return to her with a new marriage contract, because she has exited the waiting period by giving birth to the child. And it is authentically reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) what indicates this.
Then the aforementioned wife’s father performed the marriage contract for his aforementioned daughter with the aforementioned husband, with a mahr of one hundred riyals. The legal offer was made by the wife’s father, and the legal acceptance by the husband, as described, in the presence of a group of Muslims, including Shaykh S. M. A. and Shaykh H. M. A.
Stated and recorded by: The one in need of the forgiveness of his Lord, Abdul Aziz ibn Abdullah ibn Baz, may Allah forgive him.
