Advice for those who sleep through the congregational prayer during the daytime in Ramadan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Also, this is a question we received from one of our noble listeners (N. M. Q) from Riyadh. He says: Many people sleep throughout the days of Ramadan during the daytime until they miss many of the times for prayer with the congregation. What is the position of Islam regarding these fasting people?
Answer: These people have been negligent and lax. It is obligatory for them to take prayer seriously, for prayer is greater than fasting. Prayer is the first pillar of the pillars of Islam after the two testimonies; it is the greatest and most important of the pillars after the two testimonies. It is the pillar of Islam, and it is greater and more significant in status than fasting. Therefore, it is obligatory to take it seriously, and the believer should strive with full determination to perform it in its time with the congregation. If he sleeps during the day or at night, he should have an alarm from his family to wake him, or he should set a clock for the time of prayer so that when it wakes him, he gets up. It is not permissible for him to be negligent if he has his father, or a father, or a good wife who wakes him, so praise be to Allah. Otherwise, it is obligatory for him to buy a clock and place it by his head, setting it for the time of prayer at night and day. It is not permissible for him to be lax in this matter, sleeping until he loses the Dhuhr prayer or the Asr prayer; this is not permissible. Furthermore, it is not permissible for him to lose the Fajr prayer due to laxity and sleep. No. Rather, it is obligatory for him to take this matter seriously and to pray with the people at the times of prayer, and to do whatever helps him to do so, such as alarms from his family or a clock by his head. Yes.
