The Meaning of the Hadith: (Wash the blood from you and pray)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
In another question, you state that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to a woman, meaning:
Wash the blood and prayاغسلي الدم وصلي
That is, the blood of menstruation. Does this apply at any time during the flow of the period, or near its end? And if she takes a bath, purifies herself, and prays, is intercourse permissible or not?
Answer: This is at the end of menstruation. When menstruation ends, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered her to wash the blood, take a bath, and pray. If the period ends and there is something on her garment, she washes what affected the garment. She rubs it with water, scratches it with her fingernail, or with a stone, or a bone, or something else, then washes it with water, and the garment becomes pure, and she prays in it thereafter. Likewise, if she takes a bath after the blood has ceased and purity is established, she prays thereafter, and she becomes permissible to her husband.
The point is that all of this is at the end of the period. When she sees purity, either by the white discharge, or by inserting cotton or something like it in the private parts and it comes out clean, then she takes the bath for menstruation. If anything affected her body, such as blood on her thigh or leg, she washes it, then takes the bath for menstruation. If anything affected her garment or her undergarments, she washes that as well. After this, she prays and becomes permissible to her husband. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good. In fact, she has something to say after this, from which it is understood that she understood the hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to mean that a woman washes her blood while she is in the middle of menstruation and then prays. Because she asks: Do I have to take a bath and pray every time the blood returns to me throughout the day, or not?
The Shaykh: As long as the blood is present, do not take a bath. The bath is only at the end. As long as the blood continues to come and go during the night and day, you are in menstruation until the duration ends and purity is achieved. When the duration ends, whether five, six, seven, or eight days according to custom, when the custom ends and the woman sees purity... the white water, or she puts something like cotton in her private parts and then takes it out, or something else indicating her cleanliness, then she takes a bath, prays, becomes permissible to her husband, and fasts if she wishes, and the matter is concluded. As for taking a bath every hour, no; because the blood flows at one time and stops at another. As long as the duration exists and has not ended, and she has not seen purity, she does not take a bath until the duration ends and the blood stops. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you.
