Is seeing the Prophet in a dream a sign of salvation and good news?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner also asks His Eminence the Shaykh, saying: Is seeing the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) in a dream in his actual form considered a good omen for the one who sees it, or does it mean that he is among the people of Paradise?
Answer: If he sees him in his true form, as mentioned earlier, then it is good, if Allah wills. However, it does not imply salvation, happiness, or piety. The disbelievers and hypocrites saw him in his lifetime (peace and blessings be upon him), and this vision did not benefit them. Abu Jahl saw him and died in disbelief in Allah, and he was killed on the Day of Badr. 'Utbah ibn Rabi'ah and Shihab ibn Rabi'ah saw him... and they were killed in their disbelief. His uncle Abu Talib saw him and died in his disbelief. His uncle Abu Lahab saw him and died in his disbelief. 'Abdullah ibn Ubayy ibn Salul, the head of the hypocrites, saw him and died in his disbelief. Therefore, seeing him while awake does not imply guidance or Islam, nor does it imply happiness for those who see it, unless they believe in him, confirm him, and follow him (peace and blessings be upon him).
Likewise, seeing him in a dream is even more so. If a believer who is mindful of Allah sees him in his true form in a dream, then good is hoped for him.
As for the one who sees him but does not believe in his Shari'ah, and does not submit to what he brought, then this vision does not benefit him; rather, it is an argument against him in both wakefulness and sleep. Just as those disbelievers saw him in his lifetime (peace and blessings be upon him) and were not granted success to believe in him, so they became the most wretched, we seek refuge in Allah from that. So likewise, the one who sees him in sleep but does not believe in him and does not follow what he brought, this vision does not benefit him; rather, it becomes an argument against him. Yes.
