Is it permissible to accompany the Tabligh Jama'ah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What is the ruling on this method, O Shaykh? Is there anything wrong with it?
The student : It is merely enjoining good.

The Shaykh : If he accompanies them and they do not oppose him in his calling, and he does not follow their ways but rather calls to Allah, then there is no doubt that this is a righteous deed. This is because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), when he mixed with his people and sat with his relatives while they were in clear misguidance, did so only for the sake of guiding them, not for the sake of leaning toward them. Therefore, if this Salafi man mixes with them for the same reason, he is following the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in the best way of following. But if he sits with them in their gatherings without adhering to their system, he will have achieved a benefit without a harm. However, if he goes out with them according to their system, he will have achieved a harm that he considers a benefit. He accompanies them on their journey to Hajj, in their stay at 'Arafah and Mina, and in all the rituals, while he is steadfast and firm in the calling, especially the calling to the oneness of Allah. This is indeed a good deed and a good environment prepared for him. But what I fear most is that he may be afflicted with the weakness that prevails over humans. I read in the al-Manar magazine, which I mentioned to you earlier, something about it. Sayyid Rashid Rida, among the reforms he carried out, established...
