Visitors from various countries seeking the Shaykh's advice, and the Shaykh thanking them for their visit

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The student : We would like to hear from you some advice for the brothers in the Ahl al-Hadith Association, for the brothers in all parts of the world, and especially in Pakistan and England.
Shuqara: All praise is due to Allah; we praise Him, seek His help, and seek His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our own souls and from the evil of our deeds. Whoever Allah guides, none can mislead, and whoever He misleads, none can guide. And I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger. As for what follows: The most truthful speech is the Book of Allah, the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and the worst of matters are those newly invented, and every newly invented matter is a religious innovation, and every religious innovation is misguidance, and every misguidance is in the Fire. May Allah preserve you, our Shaykh Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, to whom groups of students of knowledge have flocked from every corner of the world. Each of these groups carries with it its longing for you, and the closer they come to you and to your gathering, the more their longing for you increases. They return with a yearning that carries longing upon longing, and the days do not sever these longings as the days pass and times grow distant; rather, they increase whether near or far, and they are equal in that regard. Praise be to Allah who has bestowed upon you this grace, a grace that if many had known or tasted a portion of it, it would have sufficed them, how much more so since it has come to you in the manner we know of you, since this call has been in your hands, on the tips of your pens, and on the pages of your books and letters. Today, and on this night, we are with a group of our brothers from the Indian subcontinent and from Pakistan. The days have dispersed them; some have migrated to a new homeland, wishing to carry the call with them as they carried it in their own land, while others remain where they were born, unmoved and unchanged. These men have held positions in their own lands and outside their borders, which Allah has bestowed upon you through their knowledge, much of which they took from you. In particular, our brother the Hafiz 'Abd al-Rahman Abu al-Husayn, who studied under your hand and took from your knowledge while you were teaching at the Islamic University. It is no wonder, our Shaykh, and may Allah bless you, that you find such people turning to you with this longing and this desire, carrying with them, among what they carry, the longings of their brothers wherever they are. They are all on the same level, or they differ, but the distant one is exactly like the near one, and the longing, as one who has experienced it said, is the same in distance and in nearness. If it remains as it is and increases, or if it remains as it is, that is a grace from Allah that it should be so. How much more so when the longing increases day after day? The brothers in this blessed gathering, and on this night in which they were delighted to meet you and found that you were free from the ailment that had befallen you, praise be to Allah, wish to hear from you something by which they seek your advice, not for themselves alone, but for their brothers, indeed for the Muslims in general in all parts of the earth. So may Allah reward us with good from you, our Shaykh. Will you not extend to us and gift us with something of what we have known from you in the past and still know, praise be to Allah?

The Shaykh : All praise is due to Allah; we praise Him, seek His help, and seek His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our own souls and the evil of our deeds. Whoever Allah guides, none can mislead, and whoever He misleads, none can guide. And I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger. As for what follows: Before anything else, I thank our visiting and returning brothers, and I ask Allah (Mighty and Majestic) that they be as it came in the authentic hadith:
That the one who visits the sick immerses himself in mercy until he returns أن عائد المريض يخوض في الرحمة حتى يرجع
Musannaf Abd al-Razzaq 7:715
or as He (peace and blessings be upon him) said. I hope that you have all immersed yourselves in the mercy of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and that it has encompassed us with you, that He may forgive us and have mercy on us. This is the first thing.
