The ruling on one who is entrusted with a job for a salary and hires someone else to perform it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
He says: "I work as a servant in a mosque and receive one thousand and fifty riyals. I do not work in the mosque myself, but I give one of the Pakistani brothers four hundred riyals to clean the mosque. What is the ruling?"
Answer: You must consult the Waqf (Endowment) authority. If the Waqf authority permits you to do so, there is no harm. Otherwise, it is obligatory for you to perform the work yourself and to fear Allah in this matter so that you may lawfully take the wage. This is because the Pakistani may not perform your work properly, and the intended purpose may not be achieved. Furthermore, being lenient in this matter leads to great evil, such as the neglect of mosques, their lack of cleaning, and the lack of care for them, or the appointment of a person who is not suitable due to his bad speech, his bad deeds, or his lack of uprightness with the imam and the people of the mosque. Therefore, the result is that this is a matter involving danger. It is obligatory for you to consult your authority. If they permit you to appoint so-and-so or so-and-so, whether for a wage or without one, there is no harm.
The presenter: May Allah bless you and reward you with good!
