The questioner : What is the guidance of the honorable Shaykh to a man who hired a worker for a salary they agreed upon, but at the end of the month reduced or deducted from his wage on the pretext that his work was little? May Allah reward you.

The Shaykh : Yes. If a person hires a worker and takes his full right from the worker, meaning he does not give him the full wage, then Allah the Exalted will be his adversary on the Day of Resurrection. Allah the Exalted said in the Holy Hadith:
I will be an opponent to three types of people on the Day of Resurrection: -1. One who makes a covenant in My Name, but proves treacherous; -2. One who sells a free person and eats his price; and -3. One who employs a laborer and takes full work from him but does not pay him for his lab our. ثلاثةٌ أنا خصمهم يوم القيامة: رجلٌ أعطى بي ثم غدر، ورجلٌ باع حراً فأكل ثمنه، ورجلٌ استأجر أجيراً فاستوفى منه ولم يعطه أجره
