Ruling on Exceeding the Speed Limit Set by Traffic Regulations

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
We have heard from some students of knowledge that Your Eminence said that if a person increases the speed of his car beyond one hundred and twenty kilometers, and an accident occurs, and he dies, he is considered a suicide. What is the extent of the correctness of this statement?

Answer:
Nothing has been issued by us on this matter, but people write words that I have not issued. However, I advise against speeding. People call me, and I warn them against speeding. I say that speeding is, in reality, a path to the destruction of your own soul and the destruction of others. Therefore, it is obligatory for you to take the proper path and follow the custom indicated by traffic regulations and directed toward, so that you are cautious for yourself and for those with you.
This is the obligation upon car owners: to take the proper path and not to increase the speed that harms them and harms others, trusting that they are safe and that they are skilled. All of this is from Satan. Whoever tells him that he is safe and that he will not make a mistake, this is undoubtedly a form of negligence that should not be done.
